Changing provider and solar panels

I am with NPower, who provide my gas and electricity. They also manage the feed in tariff for my solar panels. I seem to remember that when signing up for the feed in tariff NPower made it a condition that I also have my power from them. I do not know how easy it is to change power provider and how this links in to the (linked) feed in tariff. Will NPower require me to move the feed in tariff and will it be easy to move to the new provider?

Any help gratefully welcomed!:D

Your FIT can remain with NPower regardless of where you get your gas/electricity.

Don't forget some of the smaller companies don't have to deal with FIT payments.
