Onions may be too late, they need time to bulb up. Unless you want Spring onion size. If you can find some how about leeks? They will overwinter
Still just about time for french beans.
Carrots should be OK, they will go into autumn
Cabbage, some Savoy maybe or purple sprouting broccolli for next spring crop
Rocket, any time, now is fineMember of "Rubbish at Radishes" club0 -
Why not go to a garden center and look for some plants that have been started already.
Or even try ebay, there are quite alot of veg plants on there0 -
How about dwarf french beans. Some varieties can be sown up to mid July eg from B&Q:

You could even start them off in pots now to give them a bit of ahead start, ready to plant when you lift the potatoes. They produce a crop in 12 weeks.0 -
Onions will be fine if you get the autumn ones which over winter - I planted mine last August/September after pots and they are nearly ready - I have half red ones and half white. Leeks are also excellent, my little nursery sells them wrapped in newspaper in bundles of 20. Dib a big whole, drop in the leek (looks like a blade of grass) and water but do not fill with soil.
I think in crop rotation onions/leeks follow potatoes. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
