Santander credit card limit process

I applied via a secure message to Santander for an increase on my credit card limit.I have used the card for over 7 months. They replied with what looked like a pre prepared answer saying I was not eligible for an increase as I had only had the card for 1 month. They say we need to have the card for at least 6 months. Then they said further down their reply that I had the card for only threehs which looks to me like a badly edited three months. They say I need to appeal this decision if I want to by writing by snail post to their appeals address.I tried ringing customer services but they could not help at all though they did confirm I had the card for 7 months. In this day and age I feel most put out having to write to them to point out their stupid errors!
