Should I continue switch?

Hi, can anyone tell me if I have done the right thing?

A few days ago I began the process to switch to npower fixed tariff from eon on advice from cheap energy club at MSExpert. Now Npower have raised prices. Will I still get price as it was when I began or will I have to pay 10 per cent more as the switch is not completed.
Thanks

Sorry posted this in wrong forum earlier. Just getting used to this.

If you switched to a fixed price/term product, you should pay the tariffs applicable to that product tariff, without the rise.

That's why there is a window now to switch to fixed price/term tariffs that will be relatively 'good' value, once this wave of rises takes effect.
  • I have switched to EDF last night and was wondering the same thing if they raised the prices. I went with the blue price promise until March 2015 which has no exit fees.

I suppose these companies all have us over a barrel one way or another.

    Hello Tonysut,

Thank you for your post. As you requested the switch over prior to the announcement you will still get the fixed rate you were quoted.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
