Parking eye in Scotland

Received a letter from parking eye yesterday due to unintentionally overstaying in a carpark!
I have been reading through threads and see a lot of is it in England and Wales, but what is the deal in Scotland?
Your help is much appreciated!

The deal in Scotland is the same as the deal was in England before the legislation changed. Ignore and keep ignoring.

POFA 2012 doesn't apply in Scotland so there is no registered keeper liability. Ergo, ignore EVERY communication from them EXCEPT any which is titled LBA or LBCCC as this suggests they are pursuing court action. (Which will be very unlikely for Scotland).

It says a parking charge notice!
    Assume I can ignore this!
Although it does state those who park in the carpark agree to be bound by the terms and conditions displayed!

    See posts #2, #3 and #4. ;)

POFA is the Protection of Freedoms Act. Schedule 4 of this act provides registered keeper liability for contractual parking charges, whereby a parking company can chase the RK of a vehicle for such charges rather than only the driver. The RK can either advise who the driver was (thus discharging the RK liability) or challenge the basis of the charges.

Before POFA came into being, only the driver could be chased - there was no RK liability.

POFA only applies to England and Wales. Thus in Scotland (and NI) there is no RK liability ... any parking company chasing an RK in Scotland has no basis of doing so - the RK is under no obligation to advise who was the driver.
