Can't help, but that is not normal operation.0

Look under settings for a Disk Management, if it's set to Auto it will delete programmes once you've watched them if your drive is almost full. Set it to Warning/Manual.0

How full up is your hard drive?
What percentage?0 -

I cannot help with your problem about deleted recordings.
Why don't you try using the Blue button to 'keep' the recording, it will need your pin number to delete it. You have to do this when you first set the programme to record. You live..You learn.:)0 -
I know this probably sounds silly but try turning off the sky box leaving for 10 secs then bang it back on again. (not literally of course!)
I was having an issue with programmes being series linked but after watching, the following episode wouldn't show on my planner so was having to manually go and find said programme and record it again. Then also a lot of recording would fail for no reason :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
So turned it off and then back on now as if by magic everything works fine
