Parking at hotel nr Excel

Looking for a bit of local insight.
Stopping at the Ibis Styles Excel tomorrow night (all booked up by co)
Thinking of driving down as not sure about best trains to book.
Question is is there adequate parking within a few minutes walk, I know the hotel has 80 spaces but I am sure they will be gone before I get there so just need to understand the contingency as I know the Excel has a lot of parking available
. Been trying to look at google maps but cannot get an appreciation of where I would park relative to the hotel etc, will be walking with 2-3 bags etc tomorrow night, then back to car Wed morning before jumping on the DLR line to my actual destination for a meeting..!
Would appreciate any advice, as think I would rather drive but I am not over familiar with the area itself.
