I appealed my parking ticket on the 25th August 2013 and have not had a reply since appealing, i have been constantly checking online to view my parking ticket to see if it had been canceled.
Only today nearly 2 months after appealing i have noticed the parking fine has doubled to £110,
I have proof of my appeal that i sent via email but would like advice on what to do next ad i don't know where i stand without a reply from the council
Thanks
Simon

You are going to have problems with this unless you take firm action, you must follow the appeals process on the PCN, do they allow appeals via email? This will not go away , that is wishful thinking.
Post on https://www.pepipoo.com about this as well, they are the experts on council ticketsWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

You were kidding yourself. Not being funny, it was NEVER going to be cancelled at first challenge stage! I don't even need to know the circumstances to tell you that because Councils almost never accept first challenges.
But you do need to ask the Council if you have missed some post because you should have had a rejection letter and (if this was a windscreen ticket) a Notice to Owner would have followed around now. Are you the registered keeper at the DVLA or is it a company car?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
