Fostering a rescue dog

Comments

  • I volunteer for a dog rescue and although we don't use fosterers as a rule, one thing which is great is if fosterers give us lots of feedback and pictures - the more we know about the dog and how it is in the home environment the easier it is to find homes and the right home.

A rescue should hopefully try and match you up with a suitable dog, although less is known about them before they come to you there may be some idea on what they are like with children/ other pets/ to be left etc... also a good idea to get a foster agreement to make sure its clear what is expected from both sides and what is covered by the rescue etc.

    Good luck!
