Unless they are from UKPC and sent to an NI registered keeper in which case 2 letters makes no difference0 -
Oh, two letters make a BIG difference ... if those two letter happen to be NI.0

I'm in the same boat as Seven Towers, ticket in January then the standard run of letters as everyone else search the forum and you'll find copies of them all.
They have now added a new one from some solicitors in Manchester, I got my copy last week but as Seven says I cant see it going anywhere especially here in NI.
So do as MartMonk said in post #2 just file the letters and ignore them.
If you want to see a copy of the solicitors letter have a look for my username over at pepipoo0 -

So a solicitor based in Manchester is going to instigate the first ever UKPC court claim? And they've chosen to start in N. Ireland, where no PPC has ever attempted a claim?
As we say in Norn Iron, "Aye, Dead On"
I suppose I too can look forward to one of these junk mail letters, still, nice to know I've cost them another £5, at that rate they're welcome to fill my letter box. When I receive my love letter I'll be taking Daisy's advice about complaining to the SRA.All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. I haven't received one yet but expect I will and I want to complain to the SRA in the strongest possible terms, so would welcome any suggestions you can give. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. There is already an example on another UKPC thread where Daisy has suggested a damning response to this piece of paper from JMW. Can't recall which thread so if no-one adds anything you will need to search for it using the keyword 'JMW' in the 'search this forum' heading next to 'forum tools' above the threads on page one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes they can obtain RK details from DVLA (providing they are a member of BPA) but that only enables them to write nasty letters to the RK. The RK has NO legal liability for the parking charge and they cannot take the RK to court. The RK also has no obligation to reply to their letters , and importantly no matter what they try to tell you, the RK has no obligation to identify the driver.
However, there are proposals to introduce a similar arrangement in NI, so if this happens again do not assume the advice will be the same - come back and check.

Hi daisy, unfortunately I appealed the parking ticket...so have i made myself liable in stating my appeal which they rejected anyway?
Please start your own thread so we can advise you on your own particular situation.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Just had a look at the letter you linked to.
Debt recovery plus are collection agents - they cannot issue proceedings in their own name, so it matters not one jot that JMW are instructed by them.
JMW can only issue proceedings on behalf of the PPC - and they don't claim to be instructed to act on the PPCs behalf! That letter is a complete dog's dinner!
Wait until you get a letter from JMW and then come back and I will draft an appropriate response for you.
