Can anyone advise me please.
On Friday evening after looking on here decided to switch my Gas / electric supplier for a fixed rate.. After comparison I switched from EON to Npower and fixed prices. However completed the form etc. and got an email explain cooling off period etc. and that the change happens in about six weeks.
My question is Npower have increased prices today, I am assuming that the price I was quoted as fixed will stay the same and I will have just beat the price hike or will it increase as the actual changeover of supplier is 6 weeks away?

You'll be on the fixed tariff you signed up for with the prices originally quoted. Think about it: if you agreed to sign up to "Random Fix 5" and they decide to no longer offer it during the switch, they can't just move you to "Random Fix 6" because you didn't sign up for it.0
