Just discovered A&L are offering 6.15% on their esaver offshore account.

Min 1k deposit.

This is a simialr rate to the Nationwide eSaver bond. Is there any benefit to off-shoring through such an account?

Not for me though, because of the minimum withdrawal being £1,000 and also the fact that interest is paid annually. I'm sure this latter fact creates a comparable interest rate calculation to the HiSave and Icesave accounts.
