if you want to send a cheque to reduce a Barclaycard balance, who does the cheque need to be payable to?
is it "Barclaycard: 16-digit card number"?
is it "Barclaycard: 16-digit card number"?

I did a quick Google and found this link for you:
http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal/credit-guidance/managing-credit
Under the "By Post:" Section there's this information:
If you’re paying by cheque or postal order, make sure you write your postcode and Barclaycard number on the back. Then post it, along with a completed Bank Giro slip, at least 4 working days before it’s due.
Post your payment to:
Barclaycard
Dept PP
Bolton

thanks 20...but doesn't answer the question fully.
i can put the postcode and account number on the back, but who is the cheque actually payable to? Barclaycard? the account holder?
no giro slip will be included in the envelope.0 -
At some companies it's:HSBC Bank plc followed by your 16 digit credit card number
At some (Santander, MBNA. Aqua, HX) it's:primary cardholder, followed by your card numberBy post With a cheque made payable to Barclays Bank PLC by the payment due date. Write your name and account number on the payee line and your postcode on the back. Send your cheque and giro to Dept PP, Bolton, BL11 1XZ.0 -
thanks.

"Barclays Bank plc: Geoff Skillet: 4129 #### #### ####" all on the payee line.
with postcode on the back0 -
If Geoff Skillet is your name then that is correct.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

For years, until I started paying online, we always made cheques payable to 'Barclaycard' with account number/postcode on the back, but then, we always enclosed a paying in slip from our paper bills0
