Fixed deals in Feb 2014
I'm currently tied into the British Gas Online Variable Feb 2014 tariff with £30 exit fee on both gas and electric.
Because of the hikes i really want to switch right now but the exit fee's are putting me off.
What's the chances of getting a good fixed deal in Feb 2014?

If you let British Gas know that you are switching because of the price increase, and as long as you initiate the switch quickly (check your T&Cs for the exact timing), no cancellation fee will be charged.

Also bear in mind that some of the cashback sites offer some money for switching, which may cancel out some of the exit fee.0
