Have just got myself a Netgear wireless router. The model is NETGEAR - RANGEMAX WIRELESS ROUTER SMART MIMO ULTRA SECURE for Cable/DSL see link http://accessories.virginmedia.com/webstore/CNETrelated/ExtendedInformation.aspx?ExtendedCode=S2629769&ExtendedProdCode=0710673&CatCode=SELF520302
The thing is when set up it interferes with the tv signal in the next room. The tv has an inside aerial. The wireless router's light pulses and the interference on the screen matches the pulse. Is there a way of reducing the strength of the signal?

If you mean the blue lights in a circle, they can be switched off via the router.
do you reckon the light/strobe is affecting the tv signal and not the internet signal? How do you switch the light off? Am i right in saying there is a switch on the router itself or do i have to go into the menu via a websiteProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

I have one and it doesn't interfere with anything, my lights are off.
Log into the router, via internet explorer. Then on the left under Maintenance is Dome LED Control. Select Always Off.
Fingers crossed
thanks will try it tomorrow when i reconnect the router.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way
