They're starting to get a bad reputation for the sills rotting, from the inside out.

this because the seams for the jacking points split and allows water ingress and no one bothers to put some sealer back over it and hammer metal back.

with a Picasso always get a trolly jack and jack up from the rear of the subframe.

They don't appear to be capable of being driven faster than 40mph. If this is a concern...
  • No offence jase1, but I suspect you may be exaggerating a whisker there. :)

Screen price is £2,395, but I won't be paying that.

Not sure about the rest, as I haven't viewed it properly yet.

In my humble opinion, divide the price by 10 and it would still be too much.

It seems to me, that they are generally, owned by people with no motoring soul. (Not always but usually), for people whom driving is an absolute chore, and yet they still manage to pick an ugly car because it's practical, when it's not as practical as the alternatives.
If you must buy an ugly car buy a Multipla, as you get more seats.

This opinion is based on a Muppet at work who paid £1.2K for a 51 reg one, whilst the bloke opposite paid £1.5K for a 51 reg Audi A4. Guess which one hates his car ? :rotfl:

    £1200 for a 12 year old Citroen?

    What was he smoking?

I own a Mitsubishi Space Star as a second car -- similar sort of thing but considerably nicer to drive than a Picasso -- and I still only ever drive it if I have to. Whatever anyone says, they don't drive like a proper car and, as Prothet says, they are utilitarian only.

And yes, this type of car does seem to be driven by people who don't like cars much. I drive mine like I stole it, but they're worse than Micras in general in terms of holding everyone else up.

I have edit your post for accuracy and comedic value:rotfl::beer:

This was my old car. The word they blanked out is probably obvious. :rotfl:
