  • What does the message say when it stops?
  • make sure everything is updated through windows update, go to IE 9 (say, though 10 prob OK) and see if problems persist!

It says,IE has stopped working.A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

There could be a variety of reasons. Which version of IE is it? Is your computer up to date with Windows Updates? Is your version of Java up to date? Have you ever run a virus and or malware scan?

If you want detailed answers you'll need to be much more specific with your information. How much RAM Is installed? What site (s) are you trying to access when it closes? The more info you give the easier it will be to try to help you.

Use another browser and see if the same happens and if not then stick with chrome and never return to IE.
