Firstly....how many times each day does she pooh? Sounds like it is a frequent event which to me suggests some gastric or food issues.
Secondly...you could try a kitten training spray or litter like this

All good advice.
Have you been telling her "NOOO" in a low growly voice when she does it in the room and then pick her and the poo up (in kitchen towel or tissue or on a scooper) and place the kitten and the poo in the litter tray. Then move her paws to cover the poo with litter.
Keep doing that religiously till she gets the message. Do the same with wee and put the mopped up wee tissue in the litter tray and cover with her paws too.
Having a few litter trays around, will help till she gets the idea too. Make the main one the type with the hood over. You might want to remove the swing door as that can be off-putting. Hopefully that will become her favourite and in time you can remove the other trays.
Many moons ago my Mother's way to teach litter training was to say "NOOO" and rub the cats nose in it then put the cat in the litter tray. It used to upset me to watch that, though I have to admit the cats soon learnt. I reckon the same can be achieved without rubbing the poo cats nose in it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It sounds like yesterday she pooed at least 5 or 6 times? That's quite a lot for one cat in one day. Perhaps she can't control it and needs a check up at vet? I'd certainly call your vet and ask to speak to a vet nurse to ask the question without taking her in - and then if they say it sounds like a problem you might have to get her seen to.
Mine weed and pooed elsewhere when they didn't like something - usually the state of the litter tray, or the smell, or something. In the end I got a covered tray (this sort of thing: http://www.petsathome.com/shop/hooded-cat-litter-tray-by-comfy-cat-15212?cm_mmc=Google%20Base-_-%20Products-_-%20Products%20-_-Products&gclid=CKixpbi-proCFc_ItAodzgsALA), used clay litter and they were MUCH happier.
She might feel less 'threatened' about being walked in on when she's pooing if she's in a covered tray as well.
But definitely call your vet to ask the question; 6 times in a day is a lot.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Does she have easy access to the garden?0

My cat used to do this and I solved the problem by getting a larger tray to put under the one with the litter in. Most of the time he wee'd between the 2 trays and I would have to empty the top one a couple of times a day and then wash it out but it saved my carpet from a fate worse than death. I also put a couple of puppy pads underneath the trays to catch any stray splashes.
Thanks for this - I did consider a similar arrangement but not really room where I have two trays side by side already. BUT at least I have a tiled utility room floor, so no carpet dramas with this bit.0 -

I agree. A healthy cat should only need to defecate once daily, the same as humans. To go more frequently than this suggests dietary and/or digestive problems. Please seek advice from your vet if this the case.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
