Bank of Ireland credit card debt

I've been living in the UK for 2 years and have fallen behind on my credit card repayments. I'm a stay at home mum with a child under 1 and another on the way and as my partner works full-time we need every penny on household bills etc. I received a letter from the Irish bank today telling me I have til the end of oct to pay an amount of €130 or legal action will follow.
I do intend to pay but just can't afford to at the moment, can someone tell me what this bank can actually do considering I no longer live in the Irish Republic? The limit on my card is €1200 and I no longer have or use it!
Thanks any advice would be appreciated.

Try to come to some kind of arrangement to pay with the Irish bank. 1200 Euros is not a huge amount of money. While I appreciate your circumstances, ignoring the matter because you are now living in the UK won't help.
In this day and age you can easily be traced even if you decide to move to Timbuktu. They can sell the debt to a debt collection agency, thus you will end up paying more.
Contact Citizens Advice or National Debtline. Good luck. You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0
