Another idea would be to get one of the better used netbooks such as the Samsung N145 or Acer D260 off ebay for aprox £80.00 to £90.00 and put on it either LXLE or Zorin light (both are derived from Ubuntu) . Much more useful than a tablet.0

The thing is tablets will have better processors and screens than netbooks, theseadays. Far better buying a tablet and then adding a separate keyboard.
Yes, keyboard will be a bit bigger and ungainly - but for out and about you can just use the tablet and only bother to take out the keyboard when settling.0
