I have a work thing coming up across the street from a karaoke bar, I just "know" what is going to happen............. I have an ok voice and I do have a few old faithfulls I don't mind killing in front of friends (if there has been enough alcohol) but work folks........ I think not!
I usually do tend to go for something slow, think The Carpenters, Carly Simon or something a bit country (which I love love love)
Thing is, I have had a bit of a sh**y year with one thing or another and sappy songs tend to make me cry right now and I don't want to make an a*se of myself.
So while I wont be practising
I would be interested in knowing - what is your karaoke song???

Summer of 69 is a pretty easy one to sing, and everyone tends to join in so it's not as noticable if you do make a mistake.0
