Father's day

I've been dreading tomorrow! I don't know what to say to my OH to make him feel better. He has three grown up daughters all of whom he adores but hardly ever sees. We used to see the youngest one very regularly tho', understandably it had start to tail off a bit, as soon as she turned 16 it was like we ceased to exist. Texts are left unreplied to, and we didn't see them at all at Christmas/New Year. The middle one came up a day or two after her birthday, but communications have all but broken down overall.
The eldest is a law unto herself and well, enough said.

This morning two Father's day cards arrived in the post, the girls only live ten miles away, you can guess how upset he is......

PS I should add that my OH and his ex have been separated/divorced for six years and the girls and I have always got on just fine. He was pushed out when she got a new fella, they didn't split because of me.

I'm sad it's Fathers Day. My Dad died 3 years ago. And I miss him.

I lost my dad when I was 16 which is 25 years ago now. BUT imo fathers day, mothers day, teachers day, grannies day etc etc is a commercial con. Please don't take it to heart that he hasn't got a card from his daughter. She is young.
Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what yer gonna get ;);)
