M&S - refunding by different method to payment?

Didn't they give you a receipt at the time which showed the amount.0

Of course there's a problem. They've broken their website terms & conditions, gone back on a verbal promise to refund my card, and caused a significant delay to my refund (waiting on receipt of cheque and then its clearance) which will result in me receiving interest charges on my credit card for the first time ever.
Why should the customer lose out because (it seems) M&S possibly have a computer system that can't cope? It's completely unacceptable.
Common sense would suggest if you are unhappy either overpay the credit card or ring m and s and ask for the difference-I'm sure they will give it to you. I'm sure you must have more pressing problems than this-it's quite a waste of time and energy.youve already rung them why not email it's cheaper.0 -
Even if the card was 30% and you left the balance of £7.20 for a whole month, the interest is only 17p0
