I fear that even if the solicitors manage to get anything, the bulk of it will be soaked up in their fees and you'll be fed bread crumbs.
A bit like those solicitors advertising on TV for claiming PPI. Investigations noticed that some of them were charging £750 per claim (claiming they can get back thousands), when you can do it for free.0 -
The manufacturer doesn't need to do anything, but you can still get an independent expert to write you a report on the fault.
When you get the report to state the doors are inherently faulty you send it to the CC company as part of the S75 claim, this will work.
The CC co are taking advantage of the fact you have not as yet followed the correct procedure, the report is crucial as without it you have no case, and they know it.0 -
