Hi
Wanting some advice...
I have paid ppi on these cards since taking out in about 2003. I have since stopped them yesterday as I have been a bit lazy and kept meaning to do it..IDIOT i know ..
Anyway rang Santander to put in a claim for the ppi as it was missold and they would not have paid out due to a medical condition and also was not working when I had taken out the cards.
On looking further into it sounds like I am going to get a big 0 from santander as they were not regulated and that they were by GE money when taken out..
I have seen that people have taken it to the underwriters GOSWORTH , should I just send a letter of claim to them before filling in the santander claim form?
Sorry for going on, hope you got the drift of what I mean (I am not very up on these claims)

You need to be rejected by santander first before you complain to anyone else.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I have been through a similar process. Had to wait for the big Spanish Bank to reject my claim for PPI on old House of Fraser card. I then complied a letter and sent everything to Genworth. I received an offer within 8 weeks. Good luck0

I am in the process of claiming for Debs (2003) - got my reject from Santander. Emailed Genworth that day, they have been very helpful and easy to deal with. I am awaiting their final response to my claim now.
Good luck0 -
Thank you for your replies, still waiting for santander to send out the questionnaire!
Haylassy would you mind telling me what you said in the letter to them, so I have an idea on what to say.
Many thanks again

NOT a good idea, every case is different, if you allege something which doesn't match the data they have on you, you loose all credibility and look like you're trying it on.would you mind telling me what you said in the letter to them, so I have an idea on what to say0
