restricted r tarriff meter

I have been in contact eith Eon who werent too helpful after my application to change suppliers was declined. Aparently I have a restricted R type meter but I can't seem to find out details on what times it runs and what it means nor who else could supply it, any advice?

    mine used to have a huge time clock beside it that had the hours it would be cheaper.

    i had it removed and just went on normal economy 7 it worked out a lot cheaper as i could change suppliers and pick from more tariffs

    Morning,

    RHT meters are often used in all electric properties with storage heaters. They give cheaper off peak electricity at certain times during every 24 hour period for things like storage heaters and under floor heating.


    As such, they're usually wired directly into the heating/water heating circuits at properties.

    Best to identify the exact type of meter. You can call us or, alternatively, drop an email to the address in my Profile if you prefer. Will be happy to let you know.
