Credit card - no instant decision

I've just applied for a Natwest credit card online, it said it would write to me in 7-10 days one they have made a decision

Just wondering if this means declined? I've moved address only 4 weeks ago, I have updated my address with my bank and contract phone etc but I'd imagine I wouldn't be showing at new address just yet.....not sure if that might contribute too?

Any past experiences would be appreciated

I didnt get an instant decision when I applied for a credit card last year but I was written to a week later saying approved.

It just means a person needs to actually take a look.

Happened to me once - and first i knew i was accepted is when the PIN arrived.

I would be very surprised if the Natwest CC will drop though your letter box especially as you're not on ER..

I bank with them too, and changed my address as soon as I moved. I have filled in electoral register form but obviously will be a couple of months before that is updated.
