The DDs continued to come out of my my barclays account so I didn't know there was an attempt being msde to take them from Nationwide too.
You said in your first post that your rent was a standing order ?
You won't be able to get the money back, it's not just a figure pulled "out of the air" and you've already been refunded the pending charges. If you opened the account on the internet, have you checked your emails ? You were probably informed of them by email and when you didn't respond they decided to write to you.0
