Strange email

I got an email today and one yesterday with no subject and didn't say who it was from.All that was there was the envelope and the date and time.I didn't open either of them but can anyone through any light on this.Could it be a virus?

Yes, it probably is a virus - they are stored in attachments (which is what the envelope signifies).0

I seem to go through a spate of getting them - from unknown persons, either with no title or an unoriginal one intended to "grab one's attention" such as "hello" " a gift for you" "beware" or "your mail could not be delivered" - - don't open any of them... I've noticed since I bought a new anti-virus protection software I haven't had any, but still wouldn't bother opening them if I had0
