will i still be eligible £30 cashback

HI all, complete newbie at this forum game, but i think have been logical enough to search the forum before posting this query..?
scenario is this:keenly used the advice on :money:homepage for long fix on dual fuel energy  ,ended up directly signing up with Edf 2017 fix for myself 17th oct .revisted the MSE today& Registered mom&dad on energy club & myself being two separate postcodes &signed them up for the Npower 2017 offer £30 cashback &1night@hotel from within energy club :o Dawned on me that i had not made my own earlier application to Edf from within energy club:mad:so had quick secure chat to Edf who said i should phone their customer services in 48hrs.& cancel application & to reapply from energy club .I have never had an account with Edf so if i resubmit via energy club in few days after cancelling my direct approach to Edf will it cause a validity issue for the £30 cashback in 3/4 months ? as for the last 48hrs i have sort of almost become an Edf customer '?plus british gas may see 2 switch requests from Edf ?

If you don't cancel and start again you got no chance of getting any cashback.

(There is more than £30 cashback available via cashback sites when you use a switching service)
  • Thanks for noticing & helping:j ,I fully realise I will get Zilch if i don't reapply...I was more concerned that £30 cashback is only for new customers & the 'system' might see me as being with Edf twice in 3/4 months time after reapplying & therefore not a new customer ..:o & so miss out on being valid for the cashback & to be frank also a little bit anxious that it will mess up the switch with two switch requests possibly being sent in quick succession to my old provider :(
I should have joined the energy club straight away as i had no idea £30 cashback was on offer because like a muppet i only checked other comparison sites after watching Martin's video on price hikes..
Realisation was only when i signed parents up in energy club & got them a deal i realised I could miss out ..maybe someone in Energy club might also clarify this ?
both residences are now registered in energy club, once again thank you for your time :T
