Need a decent insurer for Cuba

I normally used direct travel, but they have decided they aren't offering cover for Cuba.
Can anyone recommend someone who gives a decent level of
cover and service but isn't going the break the bank?
Cheers

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

  • I used the worldwide cover through my bank - we go abroad at least 3 times a year so the account with added extras is good value.

Are you covered with your bank?
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

No, it's just a basic free current account.

  • Any non-american insurer will include cover for Cuba

Direct Travel is underwritten by AIG which is why they cant include cover for Cuba as they are bound by US sanctions

Use the links to compariosn sites on the travel pages of this website and you'll get cover cheaper than even going direct to a Company's own site. We used Topdog for our 2011 trip, as they were among the few who included Cuba- and they were so cheap we just used their annual policy for the rest of the year

    Hi,
Maybe try AXA for insurance, or I usually check my insurance with https://www.moneysupermarket.co.uk and compare the different insurers.
