  • I've now sent them that info you supplied using the online facility to submit evidence, hopefully this will be OK and it's not too late (it was only a couple of hours ago that I submitted the initial online appeal.
  • In that case you will be fine :)

  • That's a relief, will POPLA accept this statement as standard then? I seem to remember going through a few of the POPLA appeal results posts at the top of the forum and seeing quite a few thrown out despite something similar to this being quoted, or was it something different? Sorry for the stupid questions, finding this all very confusing, no wonder PE rely on people caving in and paying up but I'm determined not to.

in your first post you said you parked in a shopping precinct, is/was this a shopping centre with a clearly defined owner, or an out of town place with a collection of retail units?

If you can find out who the car park owner is, then you should also be submitting a strong complaint to the owner, as the owner will be able to cancell any action taken by their agent.
And as the owner ( principal) they are also responsible for the actions of their agents.

Clapham 1972 did you miss all the sticky threads at the top for your information?! The above one tells you how to get your fake PCN cancelled with a complaint and the one below:

Newbies! Have you got a private parking ticket? Read this now!!

tells you how to win at POPLA...and it isn't with a daft mitigating circs appeal. I hope they allow you to add that extra evidence or you'll lose and end up in court.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
