I have 8 eggs that need eating today, I don't fancy omelette but I do fancy something sweet. Any ideas on what I can make that includes eggs as an ingredient?
I have:
8 Eggs
Sugar
Icing sugar
Butter
Cocoa
Bicarb
Baking powder
Cream of tartar
Ground ginger
Plain flour
SR Flour
Milk powder
Milk
Golden Syrup
If the worst comes to the worst I'll make fairy cakes but was hoping you lovely people had some better ideas!

you can freeze eggs in tupperwares you know. I had no idea! all you do is break them into tupperwares stir round with fork & splash milk in .
ill be interested to see what you get suggested, I ALWAYS have loads of eggs left over! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Oooh, good idea - with lemon and sugar, I'm drooling now! Scrap the fairy cakes, that will be my reserve.
Maybe I've got enough to make something else nice that doesn't have to be eaten there and then as have already got my dinner out of the freezer. I did try and make pancakes once before and somehow I managed to have them burnt on the outside and raw on the inside - they were vile!you can freeze eggs in tupperwares you know. Thanks Lynz, I didn't know that either. I think I'd happily freeze them if they were fresh but seeing as they are on their last legs so so speak I wouldn't fancy freezing the ones I've got today, besides I've got a sweet tooth now!0 -
Make some pasta? 1 egg yolk per person to 3 1/2 oz flour......use the whites for merigunes (or make chocolate merignues).....

Wow, thanks Pink-Winged. That's so lovely of you to hunt them out for me.
Edited to add: It seems that cookies don't need eggs so I'm going to have pancakes with lemon and sugar as my late pudding and make some mint aero muffin/fairy cake type things which I can scoff all day tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for all their help and suggestions0
