I had to learn how to use access about 9 years ago - had 2 days to learn and become proficient! needed to calculate averages, Z scores, quintile percent bandings etc all from raw data that came from excel! By the time I'd finished modifying it, inputting data etc, I figured I'd had a trial by fire with it! Even now, the University will export results into my database for some validation tasks!
I've tried If,then,else and that calculated a random result, tried lookup, but thinking about it Hlookup might be a better option. I'll try that. ThanksDFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debt
