Balance Transfer Fee Refund

Hello,
I recently applied for a Halifax All in One Credit Card and did a balance transfer from an RBS Credit Card.
I was advised that the balance transfer fee is 3% but they refund part of a 3% fee so overall a 0.8% fee is payable.
This balance transfer has been completed and I have been charged 3%. Does anyone know when the refund is applied?
