What did you decide on after Newleaf? The roasted vegetable lasagne receipe I have is from the Vegetarian Soceity Cookbook. Its quite straight forward but if you are desperate pm me and ill send you the receipe. I am going to give it a go this week been ages since I cooked it.
Another idea is mediterranean vegetable tart, you could serve it with a jacket potato
An idea for a pudding is meringue nests with fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce and a cream or ice cream alternative, not sure if Elmlea is suitable
good luck Mel0 -
Another thing to think about is what SIL can't stand the thought of at the moment ... oily fish in pregnancy made me feel v. queasy indeed ...That's Numberwang!0

As I say, the are both vegetarian so oily fish will not figure....
We have decided upon an Aubergine & Tomato Parmesan Bake, served with a nice big bowl of green salad and some garlic bread, and Nigella's Clementine Cake served with creme fraiche. I made the cake today as it improves with keeping for a day. I will also have some strawberries in the fridge for fussy BIL just in case :rolleyes:Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

Tis.
And it's absolutely idiot proof. It's become my party piece for guests and it always seems to go down well.
