I'm after a little bit of advice regarding e-readers. I currently own a nook, which i'm really pleased with. A feature that i'd really like though is the ability to organise my books on my laptop rather than on the tablet. Is this possible with any of them?

The free Calibre software allows you to maintain and organise an ebook library on your computer and transfer to and from virtually every ebook reader available. I find it invaluable.0 -
I use calibre x it's fantastic x Can also use it to transfer documents into the right format for your device. I have a kobo touch x0

Another vote for Calibre, it's probably the most useful bit of free software I've ever used.
Once installed you can either point it at your books if they are already on the laptop or you can download them from the Nook into the Calibre library.
I have a huge amount a books, over 9000, many of them technical books supplied by software manufacturers in place of traditional reference books.
Calibre allows me to manage them all into categories so I can keep my personal books separate from the technical ones. It also means I can load whichever group of books I need at any time so I don't have to spend time finding the book I want on my Kindle or my Samsung tablet from the whole collection. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Likewise Calibre very useful.
Some say you can even remove copywrong from locked ebooks but you would have to ask google that question0 -
Thanks guys, I've already got calibre. I think I need to look at using it better!0
