Also if it's clean and reasonably quiet you could set up treatment/therapy rooms for, say, beauticians (nails rather than hairdressers) or chiropodist or alternative practitioners.
The practitioners would be responsible for getting in the clients and would perhaps rent a treatment room a day a week or whatever.Aiming to get healthy in 2014.0 -
I would see if other companies want to rent out storage space maybe? I know we could do with some! The problem with this is you would get people traipsing through your shop.
I would be tempted with a cafe - I have seen plenty of 'vintage' style ones which would compliment your shop. All you have to offer is tea/coffee in pots and cake. You don't even have to do espresso based coffees as they weren't available 'back in the day'... Find an excellent baker, serve nice tea and coffee, hire a couple of really likeable staff and you should be ok?
