Hello, I had an outstanding balance on a credit card of £996.94(apr 49.9%) on 18 sept, I paid just over the minimum payment £50 on 26th sept (it was due on the 30th) then had a stroke of luck
and managed to get the funds to clear the entire balance 946.94 a couple of weeks later on 7th October. However I have just received a statement from Aqua saying I owe a final interest payment of £26.78??? Does this make sense to anyone else....and if so can someone please explain it to me......is it legal??!! Thanks
:(

You're charged interest on a daily basis on your daily balance until you clear it. So that looks right to me, at 49.9% APR.0

Trailing interest, perfectly normal, clear it in full and you'll have no further interest or charges.0

The previous 2 posters have got it spot on.
To put it into context what was your interest charge last month?0
