boardbug from boots

I brought a boardbug from boots online, as I couldn't find it in any of my local stores, was fairly happy with what it did, although it needs a few improvements to which the manufacturer hasn't bother to replied too, although the biggest improvement should be the product quality, but thats what you get with almost everything being made in china nowadays, the watch broke after half an hour, part of the strap, not the actual unit, so I returned it to boots in the box it came, stipulating that I wanted another one, but before the 15th june, as I was going on holiday and was going to use it on holiday, thats why I needed a new one so soon, they had a week and a half to get another unit to me, but it never came, so can I tell boots I dont want the item anymore as they failed to deliver it to me in time, or should I wait until it arrives and when I get home in four weeks to post it back, thanks.

Here's a novel idea - why not give Boots a call and see what they say?Gone ... or have I?0

no offence, but did you hold your breath while you were typing?

Sorry OP but you're complaining for the sake of it. You're ranting to the wrong people. It's hardly Boots' customer care fault you're on holiday and can't be bothered to ring. I find Boots (online and instore) one of the best shops for customer service, always happy to help.0

I've re-read your post. I still don't get it.
Re improvements - "The manuafacturer hasn't bother to replied to" what did you do - contact the factory and ask for improvements?
Product quality - you were obviously looking for it before you bought it online, as you couldn't find it in any stores.....so I dont understand why the issue with improvements and quality as surely by searching for it you knew that it was reasonable quality?.... and the product breaking, wy didnt you just say you weren't happy with the quality and this broke and can I have a refund please?
Why replace a product that you believe to be rubbish - and did Boots agree to the week and a half time scale that you set or did they confirm it would take X amount of days to re-order a replacement (either that they have to wait for new stock to come in or from online stock) ?
as for the four weeks..... you may not be able to return it after such a time lapse.... unless you infom them before that you've decided you're not happy with a replacement and want a refund or something instead.0
