ScottishPower right to terminate agreement
I'm about to sign up for a ScottishPower fixed rate electricity contract and the small print says:
"The agreement(s) can also be ended by us by giving you 28 calendar days’ prior notice in writing"
Does this mean they can simply give notice and transfer me to a higher variable rate?
In which case, there seems little point in fixing the rate till 2015!
Does anyone know if this is common to all companies?
