The second one you could kind of understand.
When you're turning left out of a side street you're looking right to see if anything is coming so you don't look left till you're turning. So when they turn left they'd have expected the cyclist to have gone past them and not be lying on the floor.
Although I've no idea how they didn't see him come flying past them as he was knocked off in their line of sight if they were looking right.0 -

the accident happend right in front of the focus. The focus driver thought "!!!! it, not my problem I'm just going to drive on". She assumed the cyclist and his bike were out of her way and just drove on. She even says she thought she was driving over the kerp when she felt the bump. LOL0 -
that's why I mean with the last bit. If they hadn't been hit right in front of her you could understand her driving over his bike when she turned.
Although these cyclists appear from nowhere. I almost knocked one off his bike last year. I looked right - clear, looked left - car turning down the street i was coming out of and waved me out. Looked right - clear, looked left again to make sure nothing was going past the one who was letting me out.
the first time I looked right the cyclist had just hit the bridge which blocked my view, the second time i looked right he'd come out of the bridge and a big tree was blocking him.. so when i started to pull out he'd appeared from behind the tree0 -

That's quite frightenting really, and that woman....
geordie_ben, depending on the quality of the phone and equipment at the call centre (not to mention background noise at both), it can be very hard to understand what someone is saying. Unfortunately voice quality for calls often seems low priority for mobile phones these days, and call centres tend to make it even worse because the background noise in them can be terrible.0 -
Still shouldn't take as many times as it did.
Especially with him spelling it out, using some type of phonetic lettering. Good job he wasn't in the process of being murdered0 -
