Halifax Reward Account

Hi, just a quick question, me and my wife are looking at moving from a Natwest current account (offering us nothing, minimal interest 0.01%) to the Halifax Reward account. Halifax are currently giving £100 to switch, does anyone know if we have to stay with Halifax for a minimum term?

I know the £100 is paid in as account is opened.

Will probably stay with them for at least a year or more depending on we find them.

There is not any minimum term. As soon as you get your £100 you could close it if you wanted to.

Just been doing more reading of t&cs, do you know if you can draw money out of ANY cash machine with a Halifax reward card?

Or does it have to be a Halifax/Bank of Scotland one?

It's a standard VISA debit card you can use it anywhere.

When they're paying you £5 per month for banking with them, you might as well stick with the Reward account.

Customer service and internet banking are both much better than at Natwest, as well as the product itself.
