Large Family Holiday To Portugal Help!!!!

My parents are talking about taking the family out to Portugal Aug 2008 and they have asked me to look around to see what i can find out.

The party will be 14 people, 9 adults and 5 children under 18.

We are really looking at hiring a a villa for the 2 weeks but a hotel would ok as a last resort.

Flights would be required to go from any airport south of Birmingham.

Anyone know of a starting point i could look at.

you will probably find it far cheaper to get the villa privately and the get your flights rather than getting a package
