Just switched to NPower from BG. Initial price difference for fix until 2017 was 15% but following price increases is now 5%, if you work on a further 10% increase next year then I should be at least 5% better off following next years increase. At the end of the 4 Winter fix my dual fuel costs will hopefully be a minimum 25% lower than the standard tariff. Pretty sure someone will point out reasons why my calculations are incorrect but I'm more than happy to take the risk.

So it's best to go with the Cheap Energy Club then? Thank you for that, was very close to a bit of a mistake there!

Well after entering in the kWh and rounding them up a little from the previous year looks like i'll be able to save myself £74p/a with EDF Blue +Price Promise March 2015. Fairly short term fix, but no cancellation charges. The same tariff on EnergyHelpline reckons i'd save £168 p/a...

The other would be Online Fixed Price Energy December 2014 with SP. Saves me £132p/a on the EH website, but £38 p/a CE Club.

    Not neccessarily.

The energyhelpline is comparing your anticipated spend on your current tariff bearing in mind it won't apply for the full 12 months as it is ending.
