Moving home, fixed rate ending in December

Hi All,

I am in the process of buying a new house. I'm not sure on dates yet but hope to be in by Christmas.

My current, electricity only, deal comes to an end in December, and there is £30 fee to get out early.

Should I be looking for new deals now? Or in November in the run up to my deal ending? Or when I move into the new house?

Sorry, as you can tell, I'm slightly confused!

Thanks,

Moving home is a ' Get-out-of-jail-free' card so far as Early Exit fee's are concerned, no supplier charges them because of a house move

The day you move into the new house, you have no choice but to use it's present supplier, but once you have registered your occupation and meter reads with them you can Switch to whoever you want

Ok, great. So I just need to wait until I am in before I start looking around.

Fingers crossed prices haven't gone up by too much by then!

    Thanks,
