Business Insurance Help!!!!

Hi Everyone

I own a newsagent and my insurance is up for renewal. I am currently with Royal and Sunalliance but i am wondering if there are any other insurance companies out there which cover business insurance.

Theres quite a few, NIG, Axa, Zurich, Allianz, Norwich Union for starters.
Best bet is to speak to a broker and get them to search the market for you.

I agree with mattymoo - for commercial insurance - using a broker is probably your best bet. There are some direct commercial policies - but to make sure you are fully covered - a broker should be able to carry out a full assessment of your business and make appropriate recommendations.

Yes - they will earn commission from the insurer for doing so (and if you ask them, they are obliged to tell you how much) - but they will do all the hard work for you. Just make sure that any broker you use is authorised by the FSA (you can check on the link below)

Also - if things go wrong - a broker will fight for you - remember you are their client....
