Mouse pen for photshop

Hi, I need to get a 'mouse pen' and mat to use mainly with Photoshop and illustrator.

Looked on Amazon today and there seems to be a huge difference in price (from £30 - £300).

I am not techy at all so please be gentle (:)) but we just need a decent pen and mat so doing selection etc is more accurate than using a normal mouse.
Does anyone have any recommendation's?

look for a gaming mouse as they tend to be more sensitive as opposed to others - a pen will require a bit of a learning curb and a very steady hand to say the least.

I have a Razor one after much research and would not be without it now

I bought a trust tablet and pen. Not the biggest pad (about 6" x 4"), but for general work on Photoshop it does the trick.

Cheers :) Going to go for the trust one as the feel of a pen is what I wanted as well.

Yes trust are good, but you won't find anything better than Wacom. Use the A4+ myself.

Oh dear, now I am confused, I have the amazon window open now.
    Was looking at Wacom yesterday.

Why is it better in your view?

    WACOM

This one sounds good....is this the one you have?
Can I download it to a PC and a laptop, couldn't see how many users it comes with...or does it just plug in?

I got mine when i was doing 3D artwork, so got mine nice and cheap for £100, If i had to buy it outside of work, would have been £400 or so.

The feel of it, the size more importantly. The pen had tilt, so get better control. The trust may do that, not looked at them in a while.

All down to budget and what your going to use it for, if for home use to just have a go on photoshop and illustrator then any tablet is fine
