Sorry for another 'which one?' But I need help making up my mind. I'm looking to buy a tablet for my dd. Will be used for games and internet. So far I have narrowed it down to these two. Big difference price wise but is it a case of you get what you pay for?

Personally I think the Argos MyTablet is a very poor buy, poor screen, poor battery, only dual core processor, it should be £59
Absolutely no reason not to find the extra £20 for the Tesco Hudl that knocks the Argos machine off the page.
As to the Samsung, totally different level of beast, its an 8" tablet that has a 4:2.5 screen ratio so more square than most. Its almost exactly the same size as an Ipad Mini and is an attempt to compete with Apple. Its has a quad core processor and far better screen and battery, it would be very good for web browsing.
With tablets its not a case of picking a tablet and then finding the best price, its more a case of setting a budgets and finding the best buy for the budget, there are so many on the market.0 -
Nexus 7 for me - the screen is in a different class to these other tablets.
Hudl looks ok for a cheaper option.0 -

Thats the key now with so many tablets how much you want to spend and what you are prepared to sacrifice as you drop down the budget .
Pre Christmas promotions is what i would be watching out for now .
Cheap no name tablets no no not anymore with the Hudl looking to win the budget market .0 -

I've seen the advice to avoid cheap no name tablets, I presume you'd be talking something like this?

It gets some excellent reviews but is the extra money on the Hudl worth it? Just want it for internet browsing on the go and watching movies/tv. - Just because I love this emoticon!0
