I've seen back in the posts polite requests for clarification followed by replies from those whose earlier posts clearly showed they knew the answer but expected that person to spend hours reading back. I appreciate if it is in the last page or two but often that isn't so. I've seen people say about marathons and suggesting these people are trying to jump in and win it at the end. For a friendly thread that isn't very friendly IMHO. Don't want to have a big argument about it. Just passing comment about the few. I have had help here and it is much appreciated.
It is clear from the majority of questions that a lot of people are too lazy to use the search function. I answer lots of questions by the way and I use the search function often to do so. There is also another crucial point to be made here - the people who often ask lots of questions do just that - they never contribute anything other than questions:D:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

Good morning all.
It's quite a pleasant morning here - so far - but no doubt this is the calm before the storm! Hope everyone is well, happy and frustration-free. Have a good one!“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

We are all friends on here (though most of us have never met) and a lot of us need somewhere to blow off steam or have a moan. This was a lifesaver for me when my husband was in hospital at risk of losing his foot through osteomyelitis.
By the way, anyone that was on here then and remembers, we had some good news. He went for his 18 month check up and all is absolutely fine, he doesn't have to go for any more check upsThe surgery he had is too new for guarantees, but we should not have to put up with any more recurrances of the infecton :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Morning
I just thought I would bump this for anyone who might be going on a crisp hunt today.I also stumbled across some cheap crisps tonight :j (well, tortilla chips). Tesco has the kettle chip tortillas for 50p. The ones I got are dated Feb '14 so a bit longer dated than the RTC ones from Sainsbugs.0 -

It has however given rise to some amusing conversation and comments.
The situation as of now is.....I lied to him about Santa his whole life (his words) he has then gone on google/Wikipedia and put ME straight by telling me that actually Santa DOES exist. He accepts that Santa doesn't fly/come down chimneys/have a magic key/personally deliver every single present. Buy he's not having it that he doesn't exist.....and he's shown me the proofother worthwhile snippets from the past 2 days................
'so that year that I didn't get the Buzz lightyear I asked for, you stood by and let me blame an innocent man for it'
'All those times you told me to be good because Santa was watching and he wasn't. You lied to control my behaviour'
' How many children around the world are being lied to by their parents right now?'
' Ive spent the last 4 Christmas Eves tracking a man who can't even fly on the Santa Tracker '
' All those letters I sent that man and I bet he didn't even read them. In fact, did you even put stamps on them?'
And my personal favourite
' So who munched the carrots then, you or Dad? '
When we finally told DDs the truth we also had to admit that the tray that Rudolph had broken several years ago with his hoof was actually due to Dad coming home a bit tipsy in the early hours!! :rotfl::rotfl:0
